This scene is by far one of my favorites in the entire show.

Here, we see a different side of Discord, the one who longs for freedom and hides behind a mask of goofiness.

I’ve always loved the idea of having most of Discord’s actions be a facade he puts up because he’s actually quite insecure. Here, we see that come to light a little bit, thanks to Tirek.

Not to mention this is one of the few times he’s ever hesitated. It was fascinating to watch.
