But think of all of the trouble that would create for hasbro, though. I mean, all it takes is one person to be “offended” by that and then just like that, hasbro gets a bunch of hate mail about how it is clearly supporting gay rights, and then someone hears about that and there’s all of a sudden this huge big thing that everyone has to take a side on and hasbro has to do this and that to keep the franchise going. Basically, it’s a liability issue with hasbro. Sort of like with the Derpy Hooves episode. They have to remain neutral in these situations because it only takes one little thing to start a huge debate that could cost us the show and franchise and there will no longer be any pony

If you think that accidentally poking fun at those with mental disabilities is the same as normalizing homosexuality, then there’s something wrong. And honestly, if this was something that cost us the show, that would be a damn good way to go.
