Not canon, but I’m relatively new to the overall Gorillaz storyline and have just been pouring over the the storyline, especially Murdoc’s, whose story/character I’ve come to be quite fascinated by. I recently found this video after getting lost on a youtube journey and couldn’t resist making it into a photoset because I think it really works as an alternate explanation.
