Sandy is a white feminist and she was born and raised in an area of Texas where Black creatures of Color like Patrick lived below the poverty line and most didn’t have their high school diplomas. Which is why she always looked Patrick as nothing more than a dumb black male star fish. She doesn’t know any better but that doesn’t make her internalized racism and classcism any less important.
