No fandom is perfect. Each piece of media has issues, every individual person is capable of unfathomable cruelty and this can be expressed in several ways.

But the massive amount of passive aggressiveness really bothers me. Same with the seething hatred over things people like or don’t like.

Not to mention arguments over interpretations, headcanons, etc.

I’m not going to say “You do your stuff” because debates are good. They allow people to find new and different ideas. They give inspiration and hope, at times.

But the anger and hatred? I can do without.
