The Vampire Bat is the only species of bat that has retained its ability to maneuver on land, not only can they walk on land but they can also hop and run at surprisingly fast speeds!

desmodus rotundus is objectively adorable

they’re also the only mammal to run with front propulsion! how cool is that. every four-footed mammal that can gallop does so in the same pattern, except these little guys.
