Wooden Volkswagen Beetle by Momir Bojic

This beauty comes with a matching custom wooden shingle hat:

Bosnian retiree Momir Bojic spent two years creating a custom wooden Volkswagen Beetle from 50,000 pieces of oak. Not every piece of the Beetle could be done over with wood, such as the plastic in the head- and taillights. This view of the Beetle’s hood reveals that even the car’s side mirrors and windshield wipers have been done over in wood. Thousands of semi-circle-shaped pieces of oak make up the vehicle’s exterior and are designed to mimic the wood-tiled roofs of Bosnia.

Take note of the serious detail in the wooden taillight covers on this oak Beetle!

I don’t really know which tag to use for this entry, sorry >_<
