When both games where in development concept art was created for potential special infected, however cut in the final version for either becoming an infected we know and love today or not being practical within the game. Such as-
-The Leaker, who would preform like the Spitter, however he would also embed himself into the ground (like a bomb.) However this special was cut due to how easy it would have been for the survivor to run away from it, due to the noise it would make when digging into the ground.
-Infected with an infestation of rats bursting from his stomach. (Probably be found within the sewer levels.)
-Meat Wall- Giant, strong, yet slow infected. (Looks like a cross between the Tank and a Boomer.)
-Claws- The male equivalent to the Witch.
-Hell Hog- The only infected animal within the games.
