This Is No Star Destroyer

Roland Tamayo est un artiste Américain qui, après une carrière dans le jeux vidéo en tant que concept artist (notamment sur les jeux Ratchett & Clank et Resistance), se consacre entièrement à ses freelances, ses commissions et à son travail en galerie. Voici son dernier projet , dans le cadre d’une exposition commune avec l’artiste Alex Louisa, « Collection of Curiosities« , organisée à la galerieFlower Pepper de Pasadena, en Californie. Un travail de peinture original et décalé basé, vous l’aurez deviné, sur la silhouette du fameux Star Destroyer de Star Wars. « Ces pièces sont une collection de gourmandises appréciées par mes fils, mêlées à quelques autres issues de mon enfance, le tout lié par un amour mutuel pour Star Wars ! ».

Roland Tamayo is a n American artist, who used to work in the video game industry as a concept artist (he worked on Ratchett & Clank and Resistance)/ He knows focuses on his freelance work, his commissions and his galery projects, such as the « Collection of Curiosities » art show at the Flower Pepper gallery in Pasadena, CA, along with artist Alex Louisa. A great collection of pieces inspired by the famous Star Wars Star Destroyer!  This is what Roland was saying about this project : « These pieces are a collection of treats enjoyed by my sons, along with nostalgic treats from my childhood, connected by a mutual love and enjoyment of Star Wars ».
