I just remembered one of my favorite Halloween movies, and it’s not even a Halloween movie.
But it has everything tumblr would love: female indigenous protagonist (from one of Mexico’s tribes, the Mazahua), defeating a bunch of rich white snobs who want to kill her so they can get the money she inherited with a lot of whacky schemes including a haunted house.
It’s hilarious, and I love it.

After 40 years of dormancy a Chilean volcano sent a huge plume of ash into the sky. Volcano Calbuco, in the country’s south, had laid dormant for more than 40 years when it suddenly erupted in April, causing thousands to flee.
