Things I never noticed about this scene until the depths of Bagginshield Hell descended:

- Thorin just called Bilbo a traitor at the “skinning” comment, but once Bilbo mentions the parasites he looks between Bilbo and his (idiot) nephew and cousin.

- Realization dawns, and perhaps a bit of awe (cue additional instances of Thorin falling stupidly in love over the course of the quest).

- He kicks said nephew and cousin to get them to shut up, perhaps unintentionally mirroring the barrel scene when Bilbo appealed for his help. TEAMWORK, YO.

- Said nephew and cousin begin the dumbest and most transparent about-face in history. Thorin and Bilbo are literally both rolling their eyes.

I dunno guys, I never really noticed it before but this may be one of my new favorite Bagginshield moments, thanks to zoom in.
