This is the Pope Lick Trestle Bridge and it is the home to none other than the Pope Lick Monster. This Monster is sometimes referred to as a Goatman, but witnesses describe it as being part man, part goat and part sheep. Local legends say that this creature hunts for victims using an axe, jumps on passing cars, and lives under this bridge. However, other legends say that this creature is the reincarnated being of a Satanic farmer that sacrificed goats in exchange from being granted mystical powers from the Devil. People outside the area believe that this bridge is no longer in use, but in fact, it is the major railway that enters Louisville, Kentucky. Trespassing on this bridge is very dangerous and even resulted in a death in 2016.
