Chupacabra
Origin: Puerto Rico
Type: Blood-sucking creature
Chupacabra, meaning ‘goat-sucker’, has been described as a 3-feet tall creature with leathery green-gray skin, a back lined with spikes, fangs and a forked tongue. It hops on it’s hind legs like a kangaroo, hisses or screeches when alarmed, and emits a terrible stench.
It can hypnotize animals with it’s eyes, allowing themselves to suck out blood with their teeth in a circular incision. The chupacabra has been blamed for the deaths of many goats and other livestock.
