The U-28 Creature is an unknown animal encountered by the crew of a German U-boat in 1915. It has been described as resembling a gigantic crocodile.

On the 30th of July, 1915, SM U-28 attacked and sunk the British steamer Iberian. Mere seconds after the sinking, some of the debris was thrown up by a huge aquatic animal, which surfaced before quickly disappearing from sight.
