Kudos to Dreamworks for creating Pitch Black. Children’s movie it may be, I actually feel that he is a very terrifying and realistic representation of fear.
When he says, "You’re afraid of disappointing them. Well let me ease your mind about one thing: they’ll never accept you, not really", it is sadly relatable to many of us, me included. And, of course, Jude Law’s excellent voice is also a huge contributor to the frightening mood.
