no this is a bad thing this is the last thing humanity needs

Technically we could have this by 2020.

By 2040 we will have achieved immortality by more or less becoming cyborgs.

And then 5 years later we reach the Singularity and the machines take over, and we all end up either in The Matrix or The Terminator.
