Deleted scene - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

WHY WAS THIS DELETED

THIS IS VERY SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

WHY THE FLYING FUCK WOULD YOU DELETE THIS

they also deleted Dudley saying that Harry isn’t a waste of space.

WHY NO

because they thought a creepy-ass scene where harry does up ginny’s dress was more worth the screentime

SOMEONE SAID IT

I wish there was a way to put deleted scenes back into movies, without having to buy a director’s cut or extended edition. Because half of the time, especially on movie adaptions of books, the deleted scenes were key points that could completely alter the perspective on a character. In this scene, not only is Petunia more human than in any of the other movies, but we can empathize with her and her losses. It shows that she was not heartless, but that there was a real reason for her hatred of anything magical. Why would they remove such a beautiful, heart wrenching moment?
